Melody Oak Farm is proud to partner exclusively with Golden Gate Equestrian to offer a whole-horse, whole-rider program rooted in classical fundamentals, individualized training all with a uniquely supportive and welcoming community. Clients boarding at Melody Oak must be in training with GGE.

The AIM rehabilitation program is designed not only to heal the horse in front of us, but to educate and empower owners and professionals with thoughtful, positive and repeatable strategies that support their horse’s soundness, comfort and well-being well into the future.
Dr. Carrie Schlachter is a veterinarian specializing in equine rehabilitation who combines deep clinical expertise with a compassionate evidence-based approach to help horses move comfortably and confidently for the long term.
Full Care Retirement
Melody Oak Farm has a small number of stalls for our equine partners who are in their golden years. Together with Golden Gate Equestrian, we work to give your retired horse the daily attention that they deserve.
Full Care Includes:
- Turn out 7 days a week
- Blanketing
- Grain
- Medication administration
- Feet picked daily
- Daily wellness check
