Melody Oak Farm began with a question and an intention. What would a barn truly need to support the health, and well being of today’s performance horse?
With over 40+ years spent as an equestrian and the last decade running a small retirement boarding business, owner Leslie Taylor knows that even the most well-meaning barns are often missing key elements to client happiness and horse contentment; consistent facility maintenance with an eye toward safety, a hands-on management style and a commitment to the whole horse. All are imperative to the level of care Leslie provides for her own horses. Melody Oak Farm is the opportunity to bring that same dedication to clients who want the best for their horses.
With the collaboration of Golden Gate Equestrian and Animals in Motion, Melody Oak Farm sets out to design an environment that recognizes the particular needs of sport horses. We work to ease the stressors of travel, shows, intense training and injury through attention to mental and physical balance.
