Thoughtfully designed spaces for the sporthorse
The inspiration for Melody Oak Farm grew out of a singular vision to create a high quality, well maintained boarding facility where care is centered on the needs of the sport horse. In collaboration with Golden Gate Equestrian, health, safety and natural behavior inform the individualized care of each horse.
Spacious Stalls with Paddocks
Spacious, deeply bedded 12×12 stalls with yoke stall doors, large automatic waterers, and fully matted 12×16 paddocks. Each barn also offers hot water wash racks.
All Weather Turnout Options
12 brand new 40×40 all weather sand paddocks and 4 lovely 50×50 irrigated pastures for daily turnout, weather permitting.
Seasonal Lush Pastures
10+ acres of lush, seasonal mid sized pastures
All Weather Covered Arena
The 100×200 covered arena with new sand footing is dry in the winter, cool and breezy in the summer – and features a covered viewing area.
Spacious Outdoor Arena
Our purpose built 145×220 outdoor arena features GGT footing and a covered viewing area.
Peaceful Bridle Path
Beautiful, peaceful bridle path that loops through the 23 acre property.
Boarding at Melody Oak Farm
Monthly board at Melody Oak Farm promises the services listed below. Please note that clients of Melody Oak Farm must either be in half or full training with Golden Gate Equestrian or participating in AIM’s rehabilitation program.
- Stalls cleaned twice daily with fresh shavings daily
- High quality hay fed three times daily
- Automatic waterers are cleaned weekly
- Weather permitting, horses are turned out daily
- Pastures are open as long as the footing is safe
- Arenas are watered and dragged daily with yearly laser leveling and maintenance.
- Trailer parking is available for a fee
